PROTECTION:
Protection means supporting a soul to stay on up till predetermined time. We are experiencing that every soul is granted an average age of 100 years before taking next body. Only the accountability differs in the eyes of the God. God is protecting us irrespective of committing sin (evil deeds) or meritorious (Dharma).
DESTRUCTION: Means destroying the body and relieving soul from the respective body when it reaches the predetermined time. Everybody will experience its past deeds and get destroyed.
CREATION: Is the one which many have many doubts. Likewise How this body gets designed and who is the designer. How the soul enters into it and occupies. What are the concepts & who is framing this concept. To understand this importance and leading an essential tool to reach our life goal. ALL THESE DETAILS ARE EXPRESSED IN VEDA. MEANS WE HAVE AN AUTHORITATIVE SUPPORTS. LET US TRY TO UNDERSTAND “CREATION”.
Understanding creation is a very tough subject unless you are totally immuned into, not only studies but also acting and experiencing the nature’s phenomena. For which it may take the complete life, and also needs one to maintain an Extraordinary discipline. One of those disciplines is doing exercise on ASTANGA. Means realising the purusha (the self) to control the mind. Major hurdle for this is “ashtapaashaas” means 8 fetters.
Because the inner soul (individual) is attached closely with mind and body. Mind and body can be referred as acting elements. This body and soul are not independent. These are being controlled by a super natural power. All these three are interrelated and get motivated only when superpower is activated. This superpower is known as AMSHA of Lord Narayana. Amsha means similar to an atomic energy.
This energy is located in 8 different types of action known as “ASHTANGAS”

Now we need to know who is this super power? The super power is LORD NARAYANA, who is the only super power not only on this Brahmandam but many other “Brahmandam” also as described in many spiritual ancient books. Know more about LORD NARAYANA
LORD NARAYANA naturally emerged who is known as “SWAYAMBU” created water (First Creation). He has placed his powers in the form of an EGG. This egg consisted a soul along with character, mind, sense, sound, which are invisible. After a year or so this egg broke into 2parts. Bottom part was formed as Earth and Top was Swargam (heaven).
In between it was open space means SKY. He has created 10 directions like East, West, South, North, NorthWest, SouthWest, SouthEast, NorthEast, upper and lower for the earth. The earth started floating over the water. You can view the world map and sea that water proportion is more than the earth and appears it is floating.
Further creation done by him is that he has used the sky, creating SUN Heart, Vibration, desire, anger and lovingness. By doing so PanchaBhutas are created one after the other and on the upper part Brahma was emerged (creator).
This Brahma started creation as an AYONIJA. He has created RISHIS, such as MARICHI, ATRI, AANGIRASA, PULASTYA, PULAHA, KRATHU, VASISTA. All these are Brahma’s Maanasa Putraas (AYONIJAAS). All are brahmins, took birth while on Brahmas chanting of Lord Narayana.
Then RUDRA was created by Brahma while he was in anger. Then Brahma created SANATKUMRA. UPTILL THIS ARE AYONIJAS.
Then onwards Brahma did split his own body into two parts. One body became male another female to progress the creation of the population.
Above said Rishis and Devathas have progressed the creation of population. After this period only lightning, sound, rainbow and MANUS creation also took place.
NOW YOU KNOW WHO IS LORD NARAYANA.
THOSE who came as AYONIJA’s are Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra and behind these three is VASUDEVA. This combination is known as “VYUHA”. It is the formation of the Lord to care for creation, protection and destruction.
Those who followed Sri VISHNU and his principles are known as “SRIVAISHNAVAS”. In other words “VISISTA DWAITHA PHILOSOPHY” which is authoritative literally.
Pataka (‘that which takes one down to hell’)
Belief in a Supernatural Being or Power – generally called ‘God’ – is ingrained in the human psyche. The words of a scripture and/or of the men of God, are considered as sacrosanct and hence, inviolabe. Not following them or going against them has always been regarded as a sin resulting in grave consequences.
The Hindu scripture have designated such sins by various names such as: agas, aghah, amhas, durita, dukrta, enas, papa, papman, pataka, vrjina and so on.
The concept of pataka or sin is as old as the Rgveda(1.17.1; 8.47.2) wherein prayers have been offered to the deities like Aditya, Mitra and Varuna for redemption.
The question as to what causes sin and how it is committed has been discussed in the dharmasastras. The Gita(16.21) declares that kama (lust), krodha (anger) and lobha (greed) born out of the rajoguna (in the mind) (See GUNA for details.) are responsible for a person to perpetrate evil deeds, thereby accumulating sins.
Some of the earliest dharmasastras (like those of Gautama, Yajnavalkya and Manu) list the following lapses and misdeeds as leading to sins: doing yajna (sacrifice) for an unworthy person, eating forbidden food, speaking untruth, neglect of prescribed duties, committing deeds declared as evil by the sastras or holy books and lack of self control.
In course of time, the list was enlarged to include many more items.
All the sins will result in physical and psychological suffering. Graphic descriptions of hells given in the puranas seem to be an attempt at dissuading human beings from committing sins.
Sins have been classified in several ways. The most common classification is into three groups: mahapatakas or atipatakas (most heinous or mortal sins); upapatakas (minor sins, venial sins) and prakirna or prasangika (miscellaneous, incidental).
Under the first category are given the following sins: prohibited sexual relations like incest; murdering; drinking liquor; theft; association with those who have committed these sins; reviling the Vedas; giving false evidence to harm others and so on.
The second category includes such minor sins as: forsaking the sacred fires; offending the guru; becoming an atheist; minor thefts; accepting remuneration for teaching the Vedas; usury and so on.
It is interesting to note that cutting of big trees for fuel was also included in the latter list!
Sins omitted from these two groups and considered as very minor, are relegated to the third or the last group.
The dharmasastras and the puranas have also specified the prayascittas (expiations) or the various means of reducing the consequences of these sins. They are: papanivedana (confession); pascattapa (repentance); pranayama (restraint of breath); tapas (austerity); homa (sacrifice into a duly consecrated fire); japa (repetition of Vedic passages as prayers); dana (giving gifts); upavasa (fasting); and tirthayatra (pilgrimage).
Papanivedana should be done before God or the sacred fire or the parisad (an assembly of learned persons of unblemished character).
This should be followed by pascattapa and a firm resolve, not to repeat the sin.
Pranayama burns up the impurities of the mind and purifies it. The number should be as prescribed in the sastras or by the parisad.
Tapas has many aspects such as fasting (partial or full), celibacy, truthfulness, bathing thrice a day, wearing of wet clothes until they dry up (on the body), sleeping on the ground, not injuring others, serving the preceptor and so on. The period may extend from one month up to 12 months, depending on the nature of the sin.
As regards the homa, it is the Kusmandahoma, using the mantras of the Taittiriya Aranyaka (2-3-6) that is normally prescribed. This homa has been specially recommended for the expiation of sins.
Ganahoma and Gayatrihoma are also sometimes prescribed.
These are preceded by a diksa (initiation) wherein a set of rules and discipline such as abstaining from meat, sex and falsehood, sleeping on the ground, subsisting on milk and so on, are also to be observed strictly. These homas please the deities for whom they are done. They (the deities) forgive the sins and also grant boons.
Japa can be with the Vedic or the Agamic mantras. Certain passages like the Aghamarsanasukta and the Purusasukta or the samans like Rajata and Rauhineya as also some Upanisadic passages are prescribed in the first group. Well-known mantras like the Gayatri, the Pancaksari and the Astaksari are recommended in the second group. (Ramamantra often called the Tarakamantra also finds an important place.) For that matter, any mantra of any deity, duly received from a competent guru, can be used for expiation.
For dana or giving gifts, many things are mentioned such as gold, cow, clothes, horse, land, food etc. Gifts may be offered to temples and religious institutions also.
During upavasa or fasting, which can be total or partial, the sinner is advised to avoid luxury articles, sleeping in daytime and sex completely.
Tirthayatra or pilgrimage should be undertaken to wellknown and highly recommended places like Kasi, Badari, Kedara and Ramesvaram.
Association with a saint and serving him is also an aspect of pilgrimage.
Ultimately, it can safely be declared that the following disciplines are the best means of overcoming or attenuating the evil effects of sin on one’s life: sincere repentance, resolving not to repeat the sinful deeds, repetition of God’s name, earnest prayer and the company of holy persons.
